Created with Paris-based creative collective Air Afrique, the shoe draws on the legacy of the historic African airline whose name the collective carries forward through art and culture. Shared memories of travel and the tradition of returning home dressed in one's finest shaped the design. RK61 combines the airline's code with 1961, its first year of operation. The creamy Coconut Milk colourway accentuates the understated, almost formal silhouette, while a green Air unit beneath the heel reveals its sporting roots.

The leather upper keeps the design clean with tonal stitching and a small Swoosh. A central zip closes over the instep, with a metallic pull featuring the airline's original logo. Inside, a green jacquard sockliner recreates the pattern of aircraft-seat upholstery. The Air Max unit is visible from both the side and underneath, providing cushioning that brings everyday comfort to the dress-shoe-inspired shape. Morse code spelling out “Air Afrique” along the outsole's edge completes the aviation references.
